Father-Daughter Dance

I've been wondering what my Dad would pick for the Father-Daughter dance. I sent him the link to 'I loved her first' by Heartland on youtube last night and he said it brough tears to his eyes. I think this may be the song!

What song are you girls using? Sorry, if someone asked this already recently. I cant remember!

I have no idea what I'm using. I told my father that he gets to pick. I said I have enough decisions to make for the wedding, he gets to make this one.

I would love for him to pick My Girl or The Way You Look Tonight. My mom thinks we should do the Godfather theme song, as it's my dad's favorite movie. All I know is I'm sure it'll probably be something Sinatra-ish, or with an Italian undertone.

my dad is not picking the song Im dancing to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. ANd I cant listen to the darn song without crying.

That song is beautiful....

We haven't chosen M/S or F/D yet... still thinking.

Before we were even engaged he called me up to tell me when he hears this song he thinks of me and cries so he wanted to dance to it when I got married. Although im concerned as to how he will make through the entire song without being a crying mess lol

I can't hear it without crying either. I think I am going to DL it and listen to it 10000 times before the wedding so I am numb to the song by then.

Then I can just cry at the moment bc I am 'dancing with Daddy' which I would do if we danced to the freakin macarena! LOL

I am such a cry-er I can't stand IT!

so I have a song in mind and I think dad will go with it.

it's so beautiful! and I just think of my dad when I hear it and think of my FH singing it to our daughter one day :)
