FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE HELP !!

My dad and I need some help thinking of a song to dance too, can you ladies help me out and tell me what your dancing too...we are trying to steer clear of the typical father/daughter dance songs

right now my favorite is “Daughter” by Loudon Wainwright III

Lullabye by Billy Joel - def. not a typical song.. But he wrote the lullabye for his daughter, so it fits

Dad and I danced to 'You're my Best Friend' by Queen and then we had it fade into 'Center Field' by John Fogerty.

It was perfect

thank you! I had about 4 song suggestions for my dad and he picked this one. I'm happy he did because neither one of us wanted a really slow one.

I'm really all about the words and meaning in a song... I am actually doing two songs... One mushy one: Celine Dion, 'Because You Loved Me'.... My dad helped me get through a lot of hard times as a single mother...
Then, without him knowing we are going to go into the song: 'Honky Tonk Woman' by the Rolling Stones (I was born to that song... which gave my dad a heart attack from birth.. if the song was any indication of what his daughter would be like!!!)
