We're using 'A Song for My Daughter'. It's a special song that was made for Father/daughter wedding dances.

Are there any songs that have meaning for you and your Dad regardless of the words?

My Dad loves 'Unchained Melody', Righteous Brothers and I grew up hearing stories about how when I was an infant my Dad would dance me around the living room cradled in his arms. Over the years it's become our song as we always dance to it at events, so it's just natural that I will use that song (although it's not your typical father/daughter song).

Butterfly kisses is always a safe (yet common) bet...

I think I will be using the Beatles son 'In My Life' but the theme song version from Providence. If not, a Frank Sinatra song - my dad used to teach me to dance to Ol Blue Eyes when I was a little girl and my mom worked nights. We'd have small bottles (glass!!) of soda and pretzel rods from the candy store and dance all night!! A favorite song we danced to was 'Hey Jealous Lover' but that might be a bit odd to dance with my dad on my wedding day!!! LOL!

Lullaby by Billy Joel. I picked it because my dad used to hum and have my sisters and I dance on his feet. In the end of the song Billy Joel hums the melody. For some reason it just reminds me of being a little girl dancing on top of my dads feet.
