Father Robert
Hello all,So I have been googling father Bob Allman since my fiance and I put a deposit for him and haven't heard from him. feeling anxious about this I looked at reviews of him and they were terrible!
what's worse is that I found out about him is from my cousin's wedding! They had no complaints about him at all.
So I'm nervous we aren't going to get our money bad, and even more so we are simply going to get screwed over.
Any advice/tips or help anyone?
Thanks!
-Danielle

I would be wary of this guy, I googled him and ALOT of bad reviews popped up. We are getting married in a Catholic Church and our priest said they do not marry people outside of the church. I would keep calling him, but maybe look for a new officiant?

I just read the other thread about him & I can't believe he does this to brides! I would be so pissed if a priest did this to me on the most important day of my life. Based on what previous brides have said, I would just forget about the deposit and book someone else. I know it would suck to lose that money, but it would suck even more if your wedding day was ruined.

Agreed, no matter if he calls you back or not, you have to kiss that money goodbye. Better to be out a deposit than to have your wedding ruined by some sleeze-bag con artist. Make sure in the future you do all the research you can on any vendor you book. And it's clear he's lying, since Roman Catholic priests are not allowed to marry anyone of the same religion outside the church. From reading the other boards, marriages he performs are not recognized by the RC Church :(

I just went on his 'website' and there's even grammar mistakes. This guy looks like a nightmare.. Do everything you can to get your money back and run far away from this loser.

I would phone stalk him for my money back, and report him to the BBB and Consumer Affairs, but book another officiant. Def seems like a scam. Catholic priests cannot marry outside the church, nor can they earn an income from doing these types of activities outside of the church.Welcome New Vendors
