is it tradition for the dad to pick the song? I was talking with my mom over possible choices and she said she thought it was tradition that the father chooses the dance ( I wanted to make the song a surprise).. what are all of you doing?

yeah dad's supposed to pick (obviously within reason, and with some opinions from the bride, thats okay) but ultimately, it's his 'last dance' w/his little girl, he is supposed to pick what song means the most to him for that special dance...
...my dad picked basically when i was born!! i never even had to shop around for a song cuz its always been known...my portraits from when i was 3 has the sheet music (the notes on the staffs) as a background of my picture!! 'Daddy's Little Girl'

I actually don't know if it's supposed to be dad's choice, but I told my dad that I wanted him to pick. His response....'I HAVE TO PICK?????? WHY????'
I told him that I have enough decisions to make for this wedding. He can make this one.

Hey I didnt know the dad is supposed to pick...o well. I already picked the song and I LOVE it. Its called 'daddy'. He is going to love it!
