I am 95% sure we are dancing to 'Just the way you are' by billy joel since my dad loves him. 5% chance of 'In My Life' by the beatles.

Is that the one where she says 'thank you' over and over again? I think that's called 'Kind and Generous' - I love that song and thought about dedicating to my parents at my wedding.

I'm dancing to dance with me daughter by John McDermott. It's such a pretty song and is perfect for the father daughter dance...

Re: father/daughter songs

heres a dean martin song perfect for you here are the lyrics its called
FOR YOU by dean martin

I will gather stars out of the blue
For you for you
I'll make a string of pearls out of the dew
For you just for you

Over the highway and over the street
Carpets of clover I'll lay at your feet
Oh there's nothing in the world I wouldn't do
For you for you

Over the highway and over the street
Carpets of clover I'll lay at your feet
Ah there ain't nothing in the world I wouldn't do
For you just for you
