Father/Duaghter songs? Please do not say 'Because You Loved Me'

hey girls,

I am not a big fan of Celine (my father is though) so I am trying to find alternatives to her and persuade him away from Celine!

So far I've got:

The Way You Look Tonight - Frankie Baby
Isnt She Lovely - Stevie Wonder
If I Could - Ray Charles
In My Life - Beatles

TIA!!

Butterfly Kisses

That's what I am using. Love that song and my Dad sings it to me whenever we hear it in the car.

For father/daughter dance, we used 'Through the Years' by Kenny Rogers (I was a bawlin' though )

DH and his Mom danced to 'You are the Sunshine of My Life' by Stevie Wonder....which was more upbeat and still could work for father/daugher as well

My cousin has a funny idea for when she gets married. She is going to start off with 'My Girl' and have it turn into this oldie that goes 'Please Release Me, Let Me Go . . .' Her dad did it to everyone's surprise at his wedding. My grandma was not pleased, but I am sure it was so funny.

I suggest 'My Girl', but depends what you are going for.

My husband and his mother danced to In My Life. My father and I danced to 'Love Will Keep Us Together' by the Captain and Tenille. We use to dance to it when I was growing up.

We used 'If I Could' but a version done by Barbara Streisand because my dad loves her. I really liked it but it was LONG. Actually, the DJ cut off the last verse or so cause. I was glad because it was starting to feel weird with everyone looking at us for so long.
