Father's Day QOTD

Wow I can't believe its my last QOTD already. I will announce the new BOTW later today, just to give people that want it the chance to speak up. I want everyone who wants to be BOTW a fair chance to tell me. Its going to be hard to pick someone.

In honor of Fathers Day...

Do you think FH will make a good father? Is he good with children? What qualities about him do you think will be good (or bad) to have in a father?

Also..

What qualities does FH share with your own father?

I think my FH is going to be an excellent father. He's a teacher, so that in and of itself proves that he loves children. FH is calm, patient, and rational--all things that you want a father to be (and the opposite of my dad!!!).

Here is my answer...

I think FH Is going to make a great father. He is so good with children. He has a bunch of little cousin girls who he is so good with. They just love him. I think he will be a good dad because he is patient, thoughtful, and he is a real doer. I am so much more confident in his ability as a father then my ability as a mom.

The second part...

FH shares a lot of qualities with me dad. He is hardworking, smart, funny, honest, outgoing (everyone who meets either of them instantly loves them). But they are also very different. Jason is very hands on, my father is more of a sit back and hire someone to do things. My father is a huge romantic and loves being the center of attention, Jason is more reserved. My father is a big partier and loves to be the center of attention (like me), Jason is someone who prefers to watch the crowd then be in the middle of it. (Though he loves to watch me in the spotlight.) All I know is, I have two amazing guys in my life.

I think FH is going to be an amazing father - he's a phys ed teacher and has worked the last two years in the kindergarden center. Even I don't think I'd have the patience to chase after 25 5 year olds all day when they're crazy during gym!

He wouldnt be my FH if i didnt think he would make a great dad!! family is very important to me!!
There are soo many qualities that would make him a great dad!! he is great with children! great with his 4 year old godson and my 1 month old godson!

They always say you marry someone just like your father! and in a lot of ways its true! my FH and father have the same sense of humor always making me laugh!!

Re: Father's Day QOTD

I think FH will make a good father because he's a child himself. That sounds bad, but I don't know how else to word it. He's in to sports, video games, washing his car...all things he wants to do with a son. I've already told him he can do it in moderation with a girl, but I don't want him making her overly a tomboy, I think I'm more well rounded of a tomboy/girly girl combo for a daughter's upbringing. He even said yesterday if he can't find a playmate, he'll just make one But other than that he's protective and wants to look out for your well being, so I think he'll be fine.

I think if we did decide to take the children path he'd be a fantastic father. He is sooo good with children - I love watching him play with his nieces and nephews. And I think he has great views on discipline.

I know he will be because he already is

As far as him & my dad: they are trustworthy, loyal, and do whatever it takes to support their families. And they love baseball.
