I am looking for suggestions about how to tell my biological father(who raised me) that I also want my step-father (who's been around the last 18 years) to walk me down the aisle too. I am a daddy's little girl, but I also want to honor my step-dad who's been there for me emotionally and financially for most of my life.

i would put it exactly the way u just said. that is very sweet and thoughtfull of u to want to honor both of ur dads. im sure he will be more then understanding its your day. and daddys little girl he'll want to do anything to make you happy.

Are you going to dance with both of them as well ( two different father dance)? Do they get along with each other? If they do get along just tell them the same way you wrote the post.

I definitely plan two separate dances (daddy first). They get along but aren't what I would call friends.

for another option (i have a similar situation my mom has been remarried for 17 years) when my sister (who really is daddys little girl) got married she had our biological father walk her down.. but she stopped when she got to my stepfather and took a rose (which was specifically planted there) out of her bo-k and handed it to my step father.. that way it didnt take away from our dad and she still had a special moment with our step father.. it worked out really nicely and it was very touching.. JMO.. HTH

Step daddy down and tell him, I think he will understand or what you can do is let your bio dad walk you down and at the reception after your first dace with bio dad have your next dance with step dad.
