does your photographer ask for a must take list or do they prefer to leave it up to them, some dont like a list and say they work better without one. Personally I say trust your photographer to capture shots you'll love and for you to have your own unique pictures instread of trying to duplicate pics.

But honestly many of them just want to pose you in the vision they have for the pics so keep that in mind

i didn't take e-pics but i agree w the girls. let the photographer worry about it. maybe if you want before he starts just tell him you want variety w the poses...that way you'll feel more comfortable knowing he will be doing creative shots, w/o insulting him.

just an idea...good luck!!

I agree with everyone else, let the photographer work their magic. If you're doing a fall theme you should pick a place that is in a park with the leaves already changing.

i agree, he does great work but many times, ive seen reviews of epics/weddings and the bride/bride to be says that she wishes she had a list of some shots she wanted... we were also thinking about taking them at a METS game!!

yeah but alot of ppl also dont realize that alot of pics they like, such as certain photojournalistic pics, its a real spontaneous moment caught between the couple and thats why its special bc there is real emotion not faked. BUT the times ive seen ppl say they wish theyhad a list is for weddings and they didnt get certain things like the cake, or enough pics of groom, things like that. For e-pics its a bit different bc you know you two will both get enough photographers of eachother and thats all you need so theres nothing he can forget.

As far as i know those of us who took epics just did what we were told to and didnt bring a must take list. My photographer wouldn't be too thrilled with a list i think, i mean she is a photojournalistic photographer so kinda weird if i gave a list. I say depends on your photographer
