for favors i got ice cream scoops and picture frames that will hold the place cards.
bm gifts will probably be jewelry and a jewelry box

Well I ahve a few ideas for the favors my mom is gonna make a mini lamp I can't get a pic on yet cuz scanner is broke but its a wine glass with a glass shade wrapped in velum paper and a votive as the light also I want to burn cd's with love songs on them. FH wants to get mini wine bottles and wine stoppers so we are still discussing this and for BM I am not sure I like the idea one of my friends did all her BM's had something that they collected and she gave them something form that like one collected Kim Andersons another loved collecting elvis things anotherlove mickey mouse so I thoguth thatwas a cute idea

VERY EXCITED TODAY!!!!!!
Went to Target today and decided to start buying stuff for bathroom basket...that was fun
but, i also bought some items for the bridesmaids - like different lotions, small sizes of deoderant hairspray tissues lip moisturizer....etc...
I bought flowergirl a canvas bag that says bling bling on it with a rhinestone- so cute!
the BM's and MOH will have bags with their initials on it...
then i was thinking of buying them the mirrors from Exclusively wedding- i think it is called
AND their jewelry for the day
I think that is a pretty good start!

I would like to get the girls (and me ) a coach wristlet . For favors, we are probably going to do scratch off tickets. I can't see spending more than this on favors.

thanks for the ideas girls. Keep them coming because I feel so lost when it comes to favors and gifts.
I was also thinking about getting them totes with their names or initals on them. Then I was going to give them flip flops (so they can take their shoes off if they'd like), lotions, some little odds and ends. Then, I also bought them pearls. I got the pearls around Christmas time - bought seven pairs for 250 bucks. They were having this huge sale at Macys - I saved about 300 bucks!!!
For favors I was thinking about a wedding recovering kit. Like antacids, water, foot lotion - things like that and put them in an organza bag tied with a ribbon and also a picture frame with their seating cards in them.
What do you think?

Unfortunately I can't talk about BM gifts due to the fact that my MOH is an 06 bride!!!
We are doing a donation though as the favor..I lost my grandma to Parkinson's Disease & really feel that they do not do enough research to find out some type of cure or even the cause...So we are donating money to the National Parkinson's Foundation

We're doing chocolate truffles (probably from a candy shop in Long Beach) in some kind of cute box for favors.
For the bridesmaids, I'm thinking jewelry, but first we need to find dresses! I saw a cute pearl bracelet on Blue Nile that has an engravable silver heart on it...I may go with that.

I am an independent travel agent for a travel company on the side. I recently got these promotional brochures where you send in $6 to join a travel club and get back a bunch of stuff like a free companion air ticket, hotel discounts and very discounted cruises. I think I will include this with my BM gifts. What better way to thank them then a vacation. Also, if anyone else would like some you can FM me. The brochures themselves are free and you could either enroll the girls yourself or just give them the brochure and the $6 to let them decide if they want to do it.

I was thinking of getting the BM and MOH coach wristlets or a gift certificate to Nordstroms for a massage. I am not 100% sure yet.
