Favor Costs!
What does everyone think an average cost for favors should be? Just an estimate?

It all depends on your budget, they range from 2.00 up. A great place is Have You Heard in Bellmore. They were 1.25 cheaper than every other place we went too, they are also very helpful. They have an online cataloge and they will research unique favors, give them a try. www.Haveyouheardinc.com I hope this helps, good luck

It depends on your budget in part. We are doing small boxes of chocolates and I think our total cost will be about $1.25 each - we got the boxes and ribbon on line and ordered the chocolates wholesale. Each place setting will get one.

I got my wedding invitations from haveyouheard in Bellmore and was referred to them by my MOH who also got hers done there. They were SO helpful and have TONS of invitations in all price ranges. The wedding invitations came out perfect and were exactly what we wanted. I would highly suggest using them. Ask for Ginny (she was extremely patient with us). Feel free to say that Linda D. referred you.

We had a gift certificate for have you heard and did not use them. We got favors at Partyrific on Sunrise in Seaford. Partyrific was about the same price as Have You Heard, but they had what we wanted. Broadway Favors is a bit cheaper, but they did not have what we want. The cost of your favors should depend on your budget, what you want to get and how many people you are having. For invitations, we used Islandwide Graphics in Farmingdale. Most places have the same books and discounts range from 10% to 30%. Party City offers the 30% discount. I felt more comfortable with Island-Wide though and they came out fine.

My favors came out to about $1.40 each. I bought the small wine bottles at a local liquor store($1.27 each) and made my own personalized labels($.05 each). I am now in the process of wrapping each bottle in clear celophane and tying them off with ribbon to match my color scheme($.08 each).

That may be true Nicole, but are they wrapping them for you as well? I question whether the online service includes wrapping, but the price that Have You Heard quoted undoubtedly included wrapping, which not only saves $$$ but time, which meant more to me than money during the planning process. I used Have You Heard for both my favors and my invitations and I was completely pleased with all aspects of their service. I would highly recommend them.

Wrapping
They wrap so nice too, they don't advertise on the favor, alot of stores put stickers, and they wrap without tape. I know it really isn't a big deal but when I went to other favor companies sometimes the wrapping was cheesy, and I don't want a sticker on the favor. I am puting the favors on the table so how they look is very important to me. I know its crazy but i'm picky {:0)

Nicole, I used them as well for my Februsry wedding, their prices were lower and I got free shipping as well. Nicole was very nice and great to deal with

Wrapping
My favors are placecard frames so I won't be getting them wrapped obviously. Where I'm buying them I get free shipping and $10 off my total order. I end up saving $1.00 a favor times 70 favors so $70 will be my savings plus ten dollars off the order. I'm sure they're nice at haveyouheard but just not better priced for what I picked.Welcome New Vendors
