FH and I finally picked the wine we'll be using for favors. They are full bottles-1 per couple/family.
A few decisions that I'm having trouble making:
Where do I place the bottles? At tables/seats? (if 10 people at a table just place 5 on the table?)
How do I wrap them so they don't look like bottles to drink at dinner? (they won't be personalized, but a confetti package will be attached to it)
If I do wrap them-any suggestions on where to purchase wrap/bags (inexpensivly)?

I've seen them placed on the table, in a circle aorund the centerpiece. Why no labels? You can prob find them on ebay for cheap. At least if you put on the label 'thank you for sharing our day', people will know that it is a favor. If not....it could end up looking like a bottle for the table at dinner. But then again....if its a corked bottle, and there is no cork screw, people will either get pissed or will realize its a favor....not sure. Ive never recieved wine as a favor, but i'm totally thinking of doing it! I would really consider label/personalizing them tho.

We had them placed on the table, but I think some people didn't know they were favors and left them. I know because one of our friends took all the leftovers hahaha he had like 8- bottles!
So i would suggest having a separate table for them to take one per couple as they leave.
We got labels off of ebay and bought organza bags for cheap here bags

My cousin did this and placed them on a table in the lobby so you could take it as you went out. This was kind of a problem because I guess some people didn't kow it was one per family/couple. My fam was 3 couples and we ended up with the last 2 bottles, We were just about the last to leave, but I'm sure some other people also didn't get favors.

I would have the same concern...some people wont know....and some would be jerks (hey its true, some people are just greedy). I would probably make a cute little poem and frame it and put it on the table stating that they are one per couple. I suck with words so i dont really know what i would write. Or, you could see if the RH has someone who would hand them out.

but this also happened with favors on the table at our wedding.
I have the lady's name from ebay that I used somewhere. Something with an H. I have to find it. She did an awesome job. Posted my picture up there.

These were the wine favors for my bridal shower. At the end of my shower i gave one out per person. My sis had someone wrap them if you are interested i can give you the persons info
