im so annoyed and mostly because I waited too long but the favors I wanted to do are no longer available.

before we got engaged we had always talked about doing favors of wine bottles from Lieb vineyards that are donations to 9/11 families. the bottles were $9.11 and we were going to do one per family..

weelllll we went there this weekend and they dont make them anymore

soo aggrevated, now I dont know what to do!

Maybe you can do a search online and see if other company is participating in this.

Maybe make a donation to a 9/11 charity and put an information tag or label on a small bottle of wine?

i need at least 125, and the only ones they have left are about $20 a bottle now ( dont know why they changed the price) and they only have about 50 left...

I might just get some regular bottles and we will make a donation. It was just such a nice unique bottle of wine..

I did some googling - the $20 bottle is a different wine, the $9.11 was specifically for the 10th anniversary. Probably why they don't have many left now. On a positive note, it looks like if you make a donation directly to something it could do more good - all of the money will go directly to charity! :) i think we'll end up with something similar

buy some wine and print your own labels and donate the money yourself :)

Aweee, that sucks. Such a great cause too. I agree with then just making a donation to a 9/11 fund. Still doing a great thing. And more will go to the cause.

I was just reading about this bottle from Lieb Vineyards. For the $9.11 bottles of wine they were only donating 9.11 CENTS to the September's Mission Foundation. That's really not a lot at all.

It was a nice looking bottle, but if you really want to donate to the cause, maybe you should just donate to a foundation directly and frame a notice saying that in lieu of favors, you chose to donate.
