Favor Help

Can anyone who did donations as a favor tell me how they did the pieces of paper that told your guests that. I have the wording, I just need some ideas of what to put them on or what they might look like.

PLEASE HELP!

That is great Julz. How did you do it - if you don't mind me asking. Did you have them printed up, do them yourself. What type of paper did you use, etc. Any help is soooo appreciated.

I did it myself! I used nice white heavy paper - the kind used for resumes. I printed up 4 on each page and cut them out with scissors from Michaels to make the edge look cool! I changed the font color to gray, it looked better than the black did. Then I rolled it around a pen and put a clear rubberband around it. I have also seen people use those fake rings to keep them rolled up. The box is a 2x2x2 inch box filled with candy. I tied a bow around it and used the flower (from Michaels) to attach the scroll to the box (it has a wire stem).

Re: Favor Help

This is what I did..... I don't have a pic. so I'll try and explain it.....

I bought 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of vellum paper.... And white sheer ribbon.
I am cutting the paper in half and placing the bow at the top... The saying will be below it.
Each place setting at the wedding will have a donation card, and the matching candy bag.

At first I wasn't sure what it was going to look like, but when I put it together... it looks so pretty!

Re: Favor Help

Sorry I don't have a pic...but this is what I am doing:

On an 8.5x11 sheet of paper I made little 2.5x2.5 text boxes and wrote down a cute little poem along with the name of the organization we are donating to. Then I cut them out and glued them to the inside cover of the 3x3x3 candy box we are giving out. So this way when they open the box they'll see the poem.

Does that make sense? (My wedding is in 2005 but I made some samples to see how they'd look.)
