Ok, I thought that I had it all planned out I would give 'Fall in Love' glass coasters out to my guests wrapped in chocolate brown wrapping paper with a thick deep gold ribbon wrapped around and attach my favor tag. Now my mom says that glass coasters are impractical....who wants a GLASS coaster, she says. Ok fine, so now I have come up with two other options.
FH is a beer drinker and almost everyone I know are beer drinkers, why not a beer mug, not personalized with our names but maybe just the word CHEERS wrapped the same way as the coasters would be.
OR
Since it is a fall wedding bottles of maple syrup with a chocolate brown ribbon tied around and our favor tag attached.
Which would you want as a gift? Pics below
Our guests are also receiving tins filled with m&m's.
We gave out glass photo coasters and all of our guests love it. Coasters are a popular favor and if you really like them, then definitely have them.
I do love the maple syrup idea though, if I got married in the fall, I probably would have loved to do something like that also.

Oh my gosh I'm so glad you posted this! My FH is a big ol' beer drinker too, but we're both huge Yankee fans. So my sisters gave me an idea - get a beer mug, fill it with peanuts and cracker jack. How much would these usually run? I don't want to kill myself $$$ with favors!

they are great. they have great customer service. they're out of miami and they have great things that you can put on the glasses/mugs.
i was going to go with them, but ended up deciding on a donation favor... it ended up making more sense for us.
i think that if what you had your heart set on the coasters, go for it!!!
but if the idea of the beer mug appeals to you, i think that's a great gift too.

If you like the coasters I think you should go for it. If you truly want to change, go with the beer mugs.
