favor idea........ with poll

Ok so this is what i was thinking.....

a package of gourmet pasta
a box of italian imported bread sticks
a jar of homemade sauce
a wooden spoon
an olive oil decorative bottle
a little dipper bowl
and maybe a spoon rest
and possibly a jar of nutella (fh's favorite)

all packaged in cellophane with beautiful ribbon - what does everyone think? id be getting everything in bulk from 1 of FH GM who owns an italian specialty store.......

i think perhaps you and i are related... ...maybe you could put it in a basket or a fun bag...im thinking nashville wraps and im also thinking we can get this at wholesale price...xxoo

honestly though it would probably work out to be like $5 or $6 favor which i dont think is bad & its 1 of the aspects of the wedding that is so important to me. i dont want to give them something that they will throw in a drawer or throw out

I think the idea is really cute (and totally over the top). I would be very surprised to receive such a generous favor at a wedding.

Are you going to have someone hand out the baskets as the guests leave? I'm just not sure how it would look with all the baskets on the tables. Would it be one per couple?

I think you should add the nutella too, b/c why not? its so yummy!

True but you can always use another spoon rest & the other things are all cooking/kitchen related - eveyrone could use that stuff.

I think its a great idea!!!! an original! Never seen it before
