favor idea........ with poll

Ok so this is what i was thinking.....

a package of gourmet pasta
a box of italian imported bread sticks
a jar of homemade sauce
a wooden spoon
an olive oil decorative bottle
a little dipper bowl
and maybe a spoon rest
and possibly a jar of nutella (fh's favorite)

all packaged in cellophane with beautiful ribbon - what does everyone think? id be getting everything in bulk from 1 of FH GM who owns an italian specialty store.......

WOW! I would LOVE IT! It would be such an awesome treat! That is a very generous favor. I also love that it is personal to you and FH since you are a chef.

I dont think any of your other guests would be leaving with one, I would take all of them and runaway with them!! Love the idea!!

That is a rather LARGE favor. I think it is nice.. but think of the logistics of making them up, storing them, buying all supplies for them.. etc... is it a sensable idea? Will your RH hold those for the week of your wedding and put them out?

True but you can always use another spoon rest & the other things are all cooking/kitchen related - eveyrone could use that stuff.

definitely....don't get me wrong I love the idea, and could always use the extra pasta and sauce....but alot of people already have tons of wooden spoons and spoon rests. Just my point of view.
