Favor ideas and centerpieces for engagement party ???

My fiance and I are having our engagement party in October and I can't think of affordable favors and centerpiece ideas. If you have any ideas please let me know!! thanks=)

Maybe since its in October you can do something with pumpkins??

CONGRATULATIONS and welcome....

I love Fall, so maybe something with leaves of different colors and those tiny pumpkins (gourds?) For favors? Anything edible is good in my book :)

You could even get silk leaves and put them on the tables like you would with rose petals

What about maple syrup or honey? Its a fall thing, and they make such cute bottles for them. Check out notjustweddingfavors.com The woman did my wine stoppers and she was great!

As far as centerpieces, keep it simple with floating candles, thats always affordable.

floating candles as a centerpiece is always a good thing, and VERY easy to do yourself.

For favors, the syrup idea is really cute, just remember though whatever you do for the eparty you will have to do better for your wedding, so dont get too crazy!! (For my eparty in November I did snowflake ornaments, maybe you could find a nice ornament of somekind that goes with the season...oriental trading has lots of options for cheap...)

I just had my engagement party this past Saturday and I did small bottles of wine as favors, which surprisingly were very affordable. I bought the organza bags and my mother made the tags. We put them together ourselves which saved lots of money. For a centerpiece idea you can always do votives and rose petals, also very inexpensive. Good Luck:)

My E-party is October 25th so we are doing candy apples as our favors..thanks to the girls on liweddings...they gave me the idea and I love it!

For favors, as was said, candy apples, caramel apples, or little plastic pumpkins filled with candy.

For centerpieces, I have seen some that were the foam pumpkins from the craft store carved with the couples name, with candy or fall leaves around it
