Favor Opinions

So I keep going back and forth between ideas for favors.

I originally thought id go with a picture frame because we are doing a photobooth, so it just made sense.

But now I thought of the idea of doing personalized mugs with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and a dessert spoon. to go with the winter theme.

I think the picture frame is more practicle but I think the hot cocoa idea is cute and more original.

I just can't seem to decide, any opinions??

if you are already doing the photobooth, then the picture frames for sure! we were going to do both but have scaled down, now doing a little food & a little favor. not sure exact yet.

Both are really cute. My opinion would be, if you decide to do the mug, I would personalize the package in a way that the mug doesn't neccesarily have your name or date on it. Use your colors, etc. but it would be a more practicle gift if they don't have your name on it. Maybe put a personalize sticker on the hot chocolate packets or use a personalize ribbon. My FSIL did the mugs last year and she was left with a lot of left overs. I'm not sure if people just didn't take them or why they didn't, but it's weird having that mug around. Again, it's just my humble opinion.

I am doing photobooth frames also as favors. I feel I get dbl use out of my photobooth (fun and a favor) and its something ppl will use so u def can't go wrong with that choice. But the idea of the mug with hot chocolate is really cute! Its something I think ppl will use/drink. If u really like it go for it!

I like both ideas!
Where are you ordering your photobooth frames if you get them?
I am doing the frames and found a adorable snowflake ornament that's pretty cheap so I can do both!

ITA about the personalization of the mug itself with names or dates.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

(My photobooth prints 4X6 pictures, so I was just going to go with regular 4X6 frame but I havent chosen a vendor yet). Maybe, I will try Michaels or Kohls when they have a sale.

Yeah thats true about the personalization! Thanks :) My FH was actaully in a groomsman in his friends wedding and his gift was a money clip with their name (bride and grooms) and date and my fh felt like he couldn't really use it day to day. So it does make sense to watch out with what we choose to personalize.

I also saw snowflake picture holders on Amazon (I think thats what they are called). Those were really cute. Maybe I'll do those with the hot cocoa mug because they were only about $1 each. That may be the best of both worlds.

along those lines, would a champagne glass with a bridesmaid's name and our wedding date be weird?

Our official favor is a frame for our photobooth. The package that we booked, included them and our company will print out a cute card with a saying for the frames.

We are also doing votive candles as our escort cards, so our guests will be able to take them home.

If you have the budget to do both (frame and mug) then I say GO FOR IT! If not, I think the frame is perfect.
