Favor Poll

I was just wondering...If you were the guest at a wedding, what would you prefer as a favor?

1) A bottle of Beringer wine
2) Personalized CD with Bride
& Groom's fave songs

I would appreciate your input on this. My fiance loves the wine idea...I do too, but think the CD thing is so cool........

They are both nice gifts. I was going to give wine as a favor, but I ended up changing my mind and decided to go with a donation (which was my first choice).
I think the cd is definitely more personal.

I vote for the CD.
People have different tastes in wine, I almost never like the wine given as a favor, and I'm sure everyone will like the music.

I was going to do the CDs, but everyone is giving it for favors for all kinds of parties now, Sweet 16s, engagement and of course weddings and I thought it was getting a little played out. I am going with a full bottle of wine.

look at it this way. Most older couples dont have a CD player. Maybe you could split it up. The tables that sit the older guests put wine and the ones where you know people have CD players, put CDs. Just a suggestion

I vote for wine or sparkling cider perhaps, not everyone has the same taste in wine, but then again not everyone has the same taste in music either.

I am biased I vote for the cd's b/c that is what I have as our favor...YIPee!! they are all done pkg'd and ready to be handed out!!! We did a variety of music to suit all musical taste and genre.

I vote for CDs since I think its a personal item and its a great momento of the day. I don't like overly used items either but you can make your CD very appropriate and elegant by the songs you use as well as the design of the cover.

I find that unless the wedding is at a winery or that wine is being served during the meal or the couple made it themsleves, the wine is sort of unassociated which I don't like.

Both are very nice options but if you can't decided - CD favors are very cheap to make - maybe you can give both.

I think the wine is a great idea. We are using wine as our favors and having a label made with our names and wedding date.

I would want wine, but you should take into coinsideration people who cannot drink wine for whatever reason.

I don't really like the sappy wedding/love songs.

I really like both ideas...but have had a couple of problems with CD favors. I have received 5 of them over time, 3 of which skipped throughout the CD. I wouldn't even know the solution to that problem, although I think CDs are a wonderful and personal gift. The covers each made were so unique, as well as the song selections.

I like the CD, altough I'm not a wine drinker. I think most people would get more use out of a cd.

Wine. I like the CD idea but I doubt all of my guests will like the same music we do. I am making up special CDs for our parents of all the special wedding songs we picked though.

I vote for the CD, but be sure to do it up nice or it can look like a cheap favor, i've gotten a CD that looked crappy but sounded nice, appearance counts.
