Jennbaby- My FH and I are going back and forth about this.... what CD cover would you suggest.
The CD boxes that we can put our name and date on or just the jewel case with a nice cover.
I'm not sure which to go with but my big fear is that it could look cheap (regardless of how nice we do the CD label)
As always I appreciate any help. Thanks

I should explain the 'I win' my FH was saying jewel cases, I was saying the boxes.

OctBride - I prefer the jewelcases (with an approprate design) to the premade sleeve.

This is why I am so torn!!
I know the jewel case will probably be more practical and hold up better in the long run. I am just so nervous they covers I make won't come out nice enough (even though I am a perfectionist when it comes to this type of stuff)

I think the sleeve is different and much more attractive. People will say, 'Oh this is different' and 'How pretty!', at least thats my opinion. It is also much more 'Wedding looking' I think, a jewel case is so everyday, unless its REALLY done up somehow.

I'm biased also - I'm giving CDs. Finishing them up right now. Have to say, doing them myself is a lot of work. I have jewel cases (didn't know about the sleeves-they're nice!) and designed the cover as well as CD label. Because presentation is important, I'm wrapping each with a personalized label (myownlabels.com) and ribbon. whew.
