I definitely like the Yankee candle favor idea!! We've gotten votives before and i keep them until I ask myself why i'm keeping it. A Yankee candle would get used by almost everyone - i'd think!

Sorry to be a debbie downer, but what if the couple/ guests do not like candles or don't like the scent you have selected...that can be something to think about..
me, i would love a candle.....but depends on the smell

I hear you on the sent choice. I am going with Vanilla Cupcake, it is FH and my favorite candle. I am not a fan of the 'normal' favors.. and we are having trouble picking a favor... Idea's are welcome!

yum.....i DO like the idea of a votive with the candle....so that after the candle is burned they can save the votive and re-use it.
Call me weird but I love the fresh bread candle.

Thats OK- when i posted my invitations, I got 5 votes for 'keep working , theyall s*ck'...lol

I voted for the Yankee candle, Kim. I think it is sooooo original and very cute idea....and com'on...who doesn't like the smell of a Vanilla Cupcake? Bottom line...You are never going to find something that every guest will like.

I also feel everyone gives them out. its always the free item when you go to a store or its always a favor, so i say neither and go for something different

i love all things candle. even if i didn't... i think the yankee candle is great, because if the couple hates it, they can regift it.
most men don't want a votive wrapped in tulle... you're better off doing the one per couple version. especially if it saves you money!

Just so you know - they do have a scent called 'Wedding Day' and it smells GREAT!!!

Thank you for both of your comments Ladies! I am having trouble picking a favor like I said... But as a couple FH and I ruled out- 1. Anything w/ Almonds or M&M's 2. Mixed CD's 3. Candy Bar 4. Salt and Pepper Shakers For us those 4 items have been done multiple times in our families, so we wanted to do something diffrent!! Just cant find an idea we both like!
