Girls. I was so sure about wine but now I can't decide. I am looking into Bibich wine. It is pricey but it is Croatian so that is a big part of why we wanted it (my culture) and it is bottled so nicely. My dad came up with the idea of a bottle of olive oil. It is 250ml and looks very cute. Also made in croatia.
I like the wine. Is their any significane to giving oil as favor? Just curious I seen brides do that in the past.

i think olive oil. i think its good for everyone and for those who may not be drinkers. but i love the ideas. i'm sure they will be great no matter what you pick!!!

i think if you with either wine or the evoo people will be very happy.
i voted for the Red Wine since I think thats what would make the most amount of guests the happiest.
but i personally would love some really good EVOO... yumm...

I love the idea of the red wine from your background. The Olive oil is a nice suggestion although most people will cook with it and wont really taste the oil. With the wine they can drink and enjoy the taste of your heritage!

I am not sure. My dad went to a wedding where he said they did this - not sure about the significance though.

I wanted to give out wine so bad.. but FHs cousin gave them out as his wedding favor and since the fam is so close they would be like what? more wine?! so we wanted to do something different.
anyway, I would do the wine unless their is a big price diff than do the olive oil

I voted for the white wine only bc I don't like red wine lol...seriously though. FHs cousin was telling me that her niece just got married and as a favor she did Godiva Liquer in organza bags, I thought it was a nice idea so I'm thinking the wine bottle favor idea would be great, you could always throw in a nice bottle opener too

I like the olive oil because I've never gotten that before so it would be really original as a wedding favor. Plus not everyone drinks but I think everyone could find a use for the oil.

I like the Wine ( I am doing mixed Mini Wine Bottles - Red and White ) Can you mix them and if someone at the table likes the white they can take the white and the person that likes the red can take the red -

i would love too but these bottles are a bit pricey so we couln't add anything else.

I think the problem with wine is a lot of people have strong preference for red vs white AND some people dont drink.
I think the EVOO is more universal. plus the bottle looks super cool
