Favor tag/photo card idea?

After meeting with the DOC, she asked me to get favor tags... And then after seeing a couple of you write about the 'upload your pics to our website' cards, I was just going to get both and tie together with a ribbon to the favors...

Then had a bright idea this morn, why spend $$ on both when I can put all info onto 1 card. Do you think it would look stupid? Here's what I'm aiming at... free business cards through vistaprint, but i'd upgrade them so are of better quality... still cheaper than the favor tags alone and it does double duty....

yes - and i think its an awesome idea.!! favor tags are expensive unless you print them yourselves and even then, you have to buy ink, etc. i think its a great idea. my only suggestion would be to write your names in a fancier font. that way your names stand out on the card.

You couldn’t have thought of this idea before I printed out 100 photo cards?!?!

Let me ask this and I am sure it has been asked and answered many many times....but how exactly do you set up an account like that on shutterfly? Don't you need a password for the people to post to your account? I have been thinking about doing this and wanted to include it in my favor... but I wasn't sure of how it works.

if don't already have a shutterfly account, you can just set it up, or log in to your pre-existing one and you can set up a website and it has a setting to allow people to up load their pictures.

i really dont use shutterfly, but i set up a website where guests can upload pics and no, i made it so that you dont need a pw to see them... you can make a pw though if you want... i normally use photobucket but wanted somerhing a little diff... i still have to make sure if its the site i want to use

We made about 100 - we're going to do like 1 in between every other person. We’re only doing 1 menu for every 2 people too, so I guess we’ll just alternate menus and photo cards between people.

Oh great, now you added something else to my to do list - lol. Love the 'upload your photo's' idea. And your cards are great...but agree that your name should be in another font so it stands out. Fab!
