does the box go with your colors? i would leave it as-is, maybe with just a ribbon since they look like they would take up a lot of space. you could always do cellophane gathered at the top, but it would make them take up much more room bc they would not be stackable anymore.
I don't think the wrapping necesarily has to go with your colors- I happen to like it the way it is as well. Maybe tie a ribbon on (in gold) it but otherwise I would just leave it so they're stackable and easier to carry.

The store where I got my favors had this..we were going to get it and she was going to wrap it in tulle. Like, standing on it's side...and just tie a bow with the favor label around the top of the tulle..does this make sense??
Also, I think you should use gold tulle..and red is a nice accent color with navy and gold!

Close the box and just tie a gold ribbon or a nice length of gold tulle ribbon around it, you may have to tape the ribbon on the bottom to keep it on.
If you wnat to wrap it, i wouldn't use paper, the box is too odd of a shape for it to come out nice. You can use tulle, set the box in the middle and gather the tulle together on the top and tie with a ribbon. I wouldn't use gift bags.
IMO, simpler is better.

I was thinking about ordering that (in a different design) - I was thinking about wrapping a ribbon around one side of the heart top (so its semi-diagonal). You'll probably have to put tape at the bottom of the ribbon to keep it from slipping off the top. btw, I agree with the gold ribbon - I think it'll look fabulous with your colors.
Just out of curiousity, how is the quality of the cups/saucers? And the box? I was debating between buying them in bulk and putting them in a box myself with ribbons or just buying them the way you got it... any advice?

I would just leave the cover on top and then wrap the whole thing in tule.

personally i'd put them in a gift bag with tissue paper both in colors that match your colors
