Hmmm ..... I'd have to say Cranberries and Bon Jovi for bands. At least when I use to be more into 'band' music!

I'm also an 80's chick! My favorite is Duran Duran!!! But my musical taste varies I also love Garth Brooks, House of Pain (ok they don't exist anymore but I still love them) & we can't forget Barry!!! (Yes, Manillow)

I saw Aerosmith both this year & last year they ROCK!

You are killing me with your favs - especially Bryan Adams!!! He was my FAVORITE artist growing up...I knew every song, from every album, and had every nuance of every video memorized!!

I've been to 3 of his concerts, and as much as I hate to admit - I'd go again in a heartbeat - except that my best friend from childhood who used to love him too insists that she would NOT ever go to a BA concert again! (Although she still loves to laugh about how much we used to love him and his band). LOL

So, be honest - do you HATE the re-make of Heaven that the radio is playing lately?? I cannot STAND it!! I bet the girl that sings it doesn't even know who Bryan Adams is!! LOL!!

Claudine- I HATE THAT REMAKE OF 'Heaven' !!
I have to change the station when I hear it ! Its a disgrace !! I also hate the Madonna song that Ozzy's daughter sings. AWFUL !!!! They are both in the same bucket for me !


I LOVEEEDDD BonJovi, and I still think hes awesome. Love Billy Joel, Bryan Adams. I like lots of music, no true favorites ! and I love lots of Italian pop music......

I was a huge Police fan in the 80's
Now I'm not so fanatical, but I always see he Saw Doctors when they are in town
Other than that basically the light stuff on PLJ is my kinda stuff

Journey was my favorite

Over the last 10 years I switched to country
Tim Mcgraw is my favorite artist hands down

I love country!!!! But they got rid of all the stations! 92.5 is all that's left.

I got to see Garth in Central Park!!!!! And even made it onto HBO and the CD insert!

I've seen Bryan Adams as well he was good!! (this was about 10 yrs ago) & I hate the newversion of 'Heaven'

Jenny5150-I didn't even know about 92.5! My FH listens to the Hofstra station on Sat night because it has Irish/Country.

I LOVE to go to shows of 80's bands. I just saw Cyndi Lauper last week at Westbury. She was AMAZING!! I've seen Def Lepprd a few times & Rick Springfield about 2 years ago!! Yes I am a goober!!

Dubliner- I am a HUGE Saw Doctors fan!!!! I just saw them at Belmont Irish Fest (in the rain) in Sept.
I try to catch them when I can!! They are a great band!!!
