I was just recently engaged and we have set an Oct 2005 date! Been reading your posts which are all incredibly helpful.
If you have a minute, would you mind posting your favorite bridal salons? I'm about to start shopping and could use some advice from the pros .

My favorite bridal salon is Bridal Suite of Huntington. They don't have the biggest selection of dresses, but the people that work there are absolutely amazing!!!! What I did, was went looking for my dress, found one that I loved, then went shopping at bridal salons, until I found people that I liked dealing with. Hope this helps! And lots of luck to you!!

I love, love, love Wedding Salon of Manhasset, especially Noreen. She's great. If you buy your dress there, your BMs can get 15%-20% off on their BM dresses. It's 20% if you get the alterations done elsewhere.
Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is also really great. Kleinfelds, I've heard good things about, but my experience was just so-so.

I can highly recommend Diana at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I am dealing with her for the BM dresses and she's a sweetheart! I haven't had my appt. on the Bridal side yet.. but I'll let you know then...

I highly recommend Colette @ the Bridal Garden in Bethpage....She helped me pick my BM dresses & even mine...She was so patient & helpful! Also dealt with her in 03 for my brother's wedding...Very professional!

I had a great experience at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, I got my dress, BM dresses and my mom's dress there.

i recommend Bridal suite of bayshore. They are excellent. i got my dress and bm's dresses there.

Angel's Bridal in East Islip the service is great. A couple of my friends used them adn we always got great service. They are a small shop so they do not have alot of dresses there but they can order pretty much any dress. That is what I did with the girls dresses I looked at them somewhere else and then ordered them from Angel's.

I highly recommend Lillette's (on Merrick Road in Baldwin) They are wonderful, and have dresses for hundreds less than other salons. I bought my dress there and it cost me almost $400 less than from somewhere else i looked - it was the SAME EXACT DRESS, SAME DESIGNER!

Completely agree! I didn't order my gown from them b/c they didn't carry it but I loved them. They were so helpful and patient.
