Favorite LI Summertime Activity...

What's your favorite L.I. summertime activity? I know the beach is big up there but what else? The wineries? Splish Splash, Outlet Shopping?

I love spending evenings down at Smith Point Beach. They have a live band there nightly and it's so nice/family oriented...

this weekend was my first time at the wineries and my FW (she had been there before) and I loved it. I also like the summer concerts at Jones Beach. Seen good bands there!

Do you have the updated list of the concerts playing this summer? I know he's not playing JBT but I would love to see Prince!!

I love biking in the summer and also going to Tobay beach every weekend with FI...

My FH and I have a boat. We like to go tubimg and waterskiing with our friends, and then drive up to the beach where we bbq and play beach volleyball This is what we do every weekend. I can't wait for summer.

That sounds like alot of fun. What beach do you head to? I used to jetski to Gilgo back a few years ago and it was such a great summer scene.

We borrow FH's parents boat from time to time. I am definitely a beach bum! I want to try waterskiing this year. Gotta love jetskiing too.
Other than this, biking/blading are a given.
I just Love to drive out East..Hamptons/Amagansett/Montauk..windows open, sunroof open, music on high.. get out, walk around..it's just great!
Wineries I like to do at the start of fall..
I am sure I missed a bunch of things as well..

We live in Kings Park so we go out into the LI Sound and then to the local beaches. There are a lot of rocks though.

I betcha I'll be at Aeromsmith with the FW. She loves them. I wouldn't mind Ozzfest or Sting. (I know what you mean about Prince.. EVERYBODY wants to go to that show.)
