Favorite Mexican Restaurant?

Its my friends birthday tomorrow and she loves Mexican food. Any places that are good in Nassau or Queens? I know of Don Juans but thats about it. TIA

we love panchos in island park. i think they have the best mexican food.

Chevey's and On The Border are great chains.
But I would go with Don Juans if you're looking in Nassau.
Queens has Tequila Sunrise (Or Illusions, they change the name back and forth) on Northern Blvd./Steinway Street and Sgt. Garcia's on Austin Street in Forest Hills.

I really love Poco Loco in Roslyn, although I prefer it in the summer when you can sit outside. All the above mentioned places are very good.

I second Cozymels! Their food is sooo yummy! I also love On the Border in Hicksville. Wow, now I want Mexican food for dinner tonight!

I love South of the Border in Levittown. Nice atmosphere, good food, and you get a rose at the end of the meal! Definitely underappreciated IMO.

I love El Paso on Houston Street but she hates the city. The margaritas are AMAZING!
