Its my friends birthday tomorrow and she loves Mexican food. Any places that are good in Nassau or Queens? I know of Don Juans but thats about it. TIA

DH & I are obsessed with ON THE BORDER in Hicksville.
There is an awesome Mexican resturant in the village of Huntington. I can't remember the name of it-we only went a couple of times, but it was really good!

I love South of the Border in Levittown. Nice atmosphere, good food, and you get a rose at the end of the meal! Definitely underappreciated IMO.

Panchos is AMAZING.....its always crowded, they have an outpost in Great Neck too, but the Island park one is the original

Is that the one on Wantagh Avenue? I like that place!! In the summer it's so nice with the doors open.

Okay .. I know it's not in the area you requested .. but since so many others have been mentioned .. I'm throwing this one out there for anyone who might be willing to go for a try .. it's totally worth it!! (Ask for garden dining seating)
