Just wondering what the other women did when they were younger on rainy days when you couldn't go outside to play.
I'd put on plays with my barbie dolls, played colecovision (donkey kong rocked), read every Judy Blume book....or every book I could get my hands on for that matter, we used to build forts out of chairs, sheets and blankets. these forts usually spanned 4 rooms.

Re: Favorite rainy day games
I am only child, and I had a HUGE barbie doll collection. I played Atari and Colecovision, too. Also played on my Commodore 64 (I like computers!) Read a lot of books, still do... when it rains.
Watched a lot of TV too. I am like the trivia queen at work when someone asks 'Who's that actor? What's the name of the show with __________ '? I know the answer.

Ah, commodore 64! We felt all cool when we got the PS1 (and no for the younger crowd, that's not playstation, it was an IBM computer).
TV was definitely the go to for entertainment. It was a huge day in my house when we got HBO. Remember when HBO would have an intermission during longer movies?

I had a HUGE my little pony collection so I was probably playing with those, or watching cartoons, or reading books.

I still own a crap load of barbies. collected them and stored them for years. now i have a smaller home and FH is not into having my collection as our decor so I handed them down to my niece. Some of them are rare so I'm hoping she doesn't open them. She's 5. We put them on high shelves but she's devious. Her eyes lit up when we took her down to the room and told her they were all hers......oh the danger of it all. Guess I'll just have to get her a barbie for everything to make sure she never has the need to open the others.

well i am a middle child. so it was usually whatever my older brother & younger sister wanted to do. however when it was my choice i would make everyone watch home videos.. funny cause its the same thing i do now when it rains out.

I was very into playing with my Barbies. Or I'd go to the movies, or stay in watching cartoons/movie most of the day.

ooooh play doh. I loved the one where you put the play doh inside the doll and pressed it so it would look like it was growing hair and then you'd cut it or whatever. Loved giving them crew cuts.

I played with my Barbies, Cabbage Patch Kids and Rainbow Brite all the time. And my sister, best friend and I would play office. And sadly, we'd have lunch parties to watch Days of Our Lives...I swear this started when I was in 2nd grade! And I still watch the show...even though it's almost embarassing to admit.

I gave my boyfriend's 5 yr old daughter all my dolls. And everytime I go into her room I want to scream. My 'perfect' barbies, cabbage patch kids and rainbow brites look terrible. I kept them perfect for 20 yrs...and she's ruined them in less than a year. But she LOVES them...so that's what is most important
