We are naming our tables too...We are naming them after locations in the city i.e. Chelsea, Gramery Park, Upper East Side, etc...
I think it's a fun idea to name the tables..I just hope people are to confused!

Here are some pix from one girl's wedding she named her table after virtures. I think they are beautiful

We named the tables all the virtues we hope to have in our marriage: Love, Friendship, Respect, Laughter, Joy (for kids we hope to have someday), Honesty, Trust, Patience and Kindness.

Did the table names seem to throw the guests off a bit? I know when they use table numbers, most of the time the tables are in order. Did the guests have a hard time finding their tables??

we used table names and people seem to be ok, remember once they find their table they will remember, the bridal assistant and someone else was in our room showing the guest where their tables were.

Thank you for posting this!!! I want to use table names instead of numbers but could not come up with something that worked for me. I like the street names and the flowers theme...

This might be a nice idea for those from out of town who are getting married in NY - the wedding was in Massachusetts where the bride was from but she and the groom live in NY so they named all the tables after restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn and had business cards and matches from each of the different restaurants on the tables!! It was really nice!

Thanks for the encouragement. I hadn't thought of putting pictures on the table, but I am listing all the years and what happened on the back of the menu so everyone can get the whole picture
