i'm doing roughly 1 per couple and taking into account single people. I'm giving the hall a specific list of how many favors per table

1 per couple when it is a more expensive object or thing for a house

1 per person when it is food

I think it depends on what it is. I'm doing custom m&ms so I'm doing 1 per person

I also agree that it depends what it is. If its food, there should be one per person imho.

Yea, it depends what it is. A satchet of almonds would definitely be one per person but more than that, usually one per couple.
