I think it depends on what you're getting for favors. If you getting full bottles of wine then it's probably okay to give one per couple.

depends on favor cost. I did 1 per couple because they were pricey.

I agree with this - I can't decide between and edible and a THING, but this was my thinking as well.

We ordered per couple. We ordered a few extras for people coming without a guest. we did the same for progrms and rose cones too.

at my sister jean's wedding we did per person. our mom wanted to do couples, but thought per person.

It per person for edible favors. I thought everything was per couple. I have never been to a wedding that had anything per person.

I was going to do godiva chocolate in the box of 4. I thought that would be enough per couple.

The single people of course will get a box to themselves.

ditto for us too. we have about 150 coming and only about 30 are single so we ordered 100 of everything. does that make sense?

It depends on the favor. We're doign a favor that is a candle holder that is also a placecard holder, so both mother's have suggested just buying one for each couple at the wedding. Mine is below.

We're giving the favors according to couples and singles. 1 per couple and the singles get their own favor. Simple!!
