Has anybody heard of making cookie recipes for a favor and placing all the ingredients in a fancy jar???
I've seen packaged forms of that. I think they were cookies and they came in a pail with a shovel. It was cute. But you can do the same thing with a mason jar. You can use your favorite cookie recipe.
We did that as a favor for a friend of mine, whose wedding I was in. The theme of the shower was recipes, and we gave out mason jars filled with flour, chocolate chips and brown sugar (I think), They sell mason jars in AC MOORE for pretty cheap (I saw them there the other night). I think it's a really cute favor... and maybe you can attach a heart shaped cookie cutter to each one!
FH and I got one of those for Christmas. It was really cute because they added red and green m&ms to the top of the jar for some color. There was also a recipe on the outside of the jar.
I think someone on here did that. It was in Sept. of 2004 at the Vanderbilt Mansion. If you search for a review you should find it. IT was really cute.
