Since my FH & I love OREO's I was thinking of doing chocolate cover oreo's in like a little chinese take out box.....put two in each box for each guest....Any other suggestions?

Re: Favors

I don't know how much you want to spend, but maybe you can go to the dollar store and find cheap plain cookie jars, plain white canisters, or the acrylic canisters and with a paint pen or something write your names and date on them with oreos inside. of course it would be one per fam and not one per person.

I'll think of a few more in a sec.

Hey Lee,
I think that's a delicious idea! Although I would try to make them yourself. I had priced them at the choclatier across from the store and she had told me $2 per cookie!! That's crazy.

The cookie jar idea is cute too!!
How was your weekend?

Re: Favors

If you go to Michaels, you can buy chocolate in just about any color. You can do it yourself. Do you know how to use a double broiler?

Re: Favors

you could also put them in a mug for 'milk & cookies'.

or you could put them in favor boxes with a little tag that says 'Brides Name & Grooms Name go together like Cookies & Cream'.....(kinda cheesy but cute)

Quick and easy lesson. Get a med size sauce pot. Get a steel mixing bowl that can cradle in the top. Fill the pot with water and boil. When it's boiled put the bowl filled with the choc on top. Make sure the water doesn't hit the bottom. Your choc will melt in a few min. Then, you can dunk your oreos. Maybe half in white choc so it looks like milk.

im pretty sure they sell chocolate covered oreos in the package just liek the regular ones come - it would save alot of time rather than DIY. these are great ideas girls! what about a small cookie tin?
