anyone have any ideas or suggestions for diy favors that would be good for may something springy im trying to save a few bucks

I'm in April and have a Yellow Tulip theme. I think I'm going to go buy little tiny clay pots and paint them pretty. Then I will plant tulips in them. Makes for a very unique favor, and also WAY less than a dollar each!

my plan is to make 4oz. jars of blueberry jam. (well, my mom is...she makes it every year almost) the jars are about 50 cents each, and then i'm getting ribbon to wrap around it. if u go blueberry picking u can get a good price on the berries. i actually got this idea from another girl on here who used them as her seating cards. here is a pic
i figure that can just be the favor if u want to save $ or, u can also give out spreaders (they have them on a lot of favor websites) they have ones that say 'spread the love'...hehe, cute!
One of my friends is getting married this march and she is making individual WHOOPING PIES on the card it will have the recipe and the saying 'May you enjoy the whoopie as much as us'
I thought it was cute. Well see what her guests think. She is also making scented cadles, book marks with a poem and scented oils. She is so creative in the lotion/body spreay creating department.
