Favors

We're doing personalized wedding cd's of our favorite love songs. I found kits in AC Moore -- they include labels and lovely cream colored packaging for each cd. My sister has an industrial burner (no clue why -- she is a martial arts instructor and realtor!) and I got the blank cd's on clearance at staples. It will cost me like $75 to make 100. Then I plan to fill small italian boxes with chocolate hearts -- I want to place one on each plate setting. I found the boxes in a tiffany blue color (have to assemble them myself) and I'm still looking for the chocolate. I think those will run me $1 - 1.25 each.

I seriously thought about skipping them all together but both of our families are expecting favors.

I budgeted $20pp but the favor I want is $29. It is seashell soap in an apothecary jar.

ohhh I really like those!!!!

Favors are great, but I have been to weddings where they are left behind, people forget. I know we would love to do more,, but when it comes down to it, I think nothing says thanks than a hug or handshake better.
We are having a $5 per couple favor. I am boxing and wrapping myself. So with that in mind probably $5.25 total each

WOW that's is VERY generous! I think FH would tie me up and put me in a dark closet if I spent that pp. We're giving other stuff too but DAMN!

ITs a BEAUTIFUL gift and a wonderful reminder of your day though.
