Re: favors
We made a donation, based on the guests we expect, it will be $3 / per person. I also got hugs and kisses $40 for guests at the end of the night

Re: favors
We are getting these for 2.75 each plus $20 for the personalization setup. This comes with white box and ribbon, with a choice of either lavender or vanilla oil.
We are doing wine stoppers, one per couple. We are paying $4.25 each, this includes a nice wrapping w. personalized ribbon. I love them, they are so nice and have a real weight to them, not flimsy at all. I will def. be keeping one for us

Re: favors
I'm giving out ceramic x-mas ornaments with an irish theme (harp, shamrock, cladaugh, and St Brigid Cross). They are $2.25 each and I will be giving one ornament to each couple.

Re: favors
I'm making my favors with my mom. White chocolate heart boxes with the silouhette of a bride and groom on the cover. The box will be filled with milk chocolate truffles. Here's a pic. of something similar:
Full bottles of wine, one per couple, for approx $6.50 a bottle (includes label and wrapping).

Re: favors
WIN01,
I didn't order the wine charms through the Lenox website, they are unavailable through that. I found them originally on kitchenetc.com, where you can order them for $5.99, but I called the Lenox factory and ordered it through them.
The number is 800-423-8946.
I will bump my thread up with the picture on it so you can see!
Let me know what you decide!

Re: favors
These are handpainted vases- they look much better in person and they being made to my colors.
I am in the minority - not doing favors at all...and I'm sure my Italian relatives will have a FIT. Oh well - I personally hate favors at a wedding and always forget to take them and half the time its something I'll never use anyways (although alot of you have found very nice things). I may do a small bottle of LI wine in the welcome baskets for all the OOT but thats IT.

Re: favors
Jenny,
You are not alone, a lot of people I know are NOT doing favors... it's up to you!

Re: favors
Jenny, good for you! We tried that, but both mothers said 'you HAVE to have favors' (you can imagine the tone). In the end we went with a silver tin of mints (our colors were silver and white) from TheKnot and chcolates from Bella Terra, one for each person, assmbled in alternating silver and white organza bags. Cost was probably $4 per person. My sister went with mikasa candy dishes filled with personalized chocolates and wrapped. one per couple. Cost is probably about the same - $8 per couple.
