Favors

What are you girls thinking of giving out as favors.
Im thinking of edible favors-not sure yet or where to even look.

I've been thinking of cheeseboards and cutting knives. FH and I ALWAYS put out cheese and crackers when we have company, so I figured it would be appropo.

I want to do a donation, but FH doesn't like that idea. He says we MUST give out favors and that people will be mad if they don't get one. Apparently receiving a stupid trinket that will end up in the garbage or in your stomach is more important than saving dying children's lives. I will get my way....

im doing bookmarks cause its me (degree in english, im a writer, getting masters in eng ed). and bottle stops cause theyre cute haha...i did two different favors cause if you have a couple, i rather have them get one of each then two of the same thing.

we are going with a set of 4 coasters tho...

Coasters are a great idea and it's been in the back of my head for a while...

I figured candied apples might be cute since our wedding is Halloween weekend. FMIL thinks it's not enough and we should do something else in addition, but then I told her that would be too expensive in the end. The apples won't be cheap! Does she think i'm going to make them myself??? crazy lady.

LOL!!! i think that is a great idea for a halloween wedding... i think the apple is plenty...

I originally wanted to do a donation...but FH didnt want to do that (of which I was suprised as he is the most giving thoughtful person). So...instead - we are going to do small boxes of Godiva chocolates (I think maybe 2 pieces as opposed to 4...depending on cost), as he got me a box of them on our first date, and always randomly surprises me with them - so we figured that would be a cute idea

I did coasters for my engagement party and everyone loved them!! we did sets of 2 and one said thank you and the other had one of our engagement photos in it. They're pretty affordable too. we paid $1.60 a set i believe.

We aren't exactly sure yet but you all will definitely get a kick out of this one. My FH is Italian and I was looking for Favors online and ran across the funniest website ever.

we were going to get the set of 4 and split them into two and use our own ribbon, because i have a (expletive) load of people invited ad we just couldnt affford to go crazy on favors... but i also wanted something that people would take home...

my friend actually has a book of all favor stuff that she can get at cost because of where she works... so i am going to look at them this weekend... i was looking at these

I think edible favors are a great idea!! My sister gave out bottles of wine as her favor, which I thought was a nice idea!
