what kind of favors is everyone having? Also, is anyone having children at their wedding? If so are you getting them special favors?

Re: favors
we are making a donation to a cancer charity. thinking of putting the scrolls describing the donation into bottles (sort of like a message in a bottle) as seating place cards. no kids except for one in bridal party.

Re: favors
We are having these Mikasa candy bowls. I have 4 flower girls and 3 non-bridal party children coming. I made my FG's a speical gift, coloring books, crayons, games, candy, snacks etc. I have no idea what to do for the other 3 kids
I giving out sets of wine charms. They are made by Lenox and it's the 4 seasons. I am having a few children at my wedding and the thought crossed my mind to have something special for them... haven't convinced FH yet though!

I am givning a pair of pretty votives fo rfavors. I am having children, about 20 of them. I wanted my WHOLE family at my wedding, so I am. I am a teacher, I love children and I really can't imagine an event without them. I love seeing them dancing on the dance floor.

Re: favors
Not decided on favors yet - leaning towards a CD of our wedding songs and chocolates. We are having 4 kids (2 are in bridal party) but they range in age from 14-16. No one younger.

Re: favors
After changing my mind about 4 thousand times, we are giving out chocolates to every guest on thier plate as they arrive and then wine stoppers as the main favor (one per couple).
We are having no children at the wedding.

Re: favors
We're doing votive seating 'cards' and donating money to a cancer organization. A friend did this at her wedding and displayed it really nice with a ribbon pin representing the organization they donated to.
Still tossing around the idea of 2 flower girls...they will only stay thru the cocktail hour...so no, no special favors.

Re: favors
Giving out Irish themed ceramic christmas ornaments (one per couple). there are 4 different oraments: harp, St Brigid cross, cladagh, and shamrock.
Only kids going are my immediate niece and nephew, and his nieces and nephew. Four of his nieces are in their 20's so not really kids, but you get the idea

Re: favors
so far i came up with the idea of mini wine bottles for the adults and for the few children ( 2 fgs, 1 rb and 6 other family children) wine bottles filled with jelly beans.

Re: favors
FH and I are giving out tiny tin watering cans that will have little muslin bags filled with seeds. It's a new beginning, we want to emphasize that, and we (or should I say I ) want to give something that people can use after the wedding to do something good for the environment.
