How soon b4 the wedding did you or are you buying your favors? I don't to over buy and end up with a bunch extra or under buy and not be able to get more in time? I also don;t want to get stuckwith waiting for all my RSVP's b/c the whole time thing again.

Well if you're doing something edible you can't get them too far in advance.
about a month and a half before you should have a pretty good idea who's coming and who's not. always get a few extra anyway.
or send invitations out a little earlier. like right now, i can tell you off the top of my head who's def coming to my wedding and who i think is on the fence
