Since I'm getting married at a golf course, I was thinking about giving out monogramed golf balls. I thought I was a cute idea. We've still got plenty of time to decide though...BUT for our engagement party we're giving out plantable paper confetti (you plant it, water it, and it grows into wild flowers) that i'm going to put into a tissue paper dahlia I'll make.

We went traditional...........

We had 1 dollor scratch offs and chocolate kisses and we had breakaway centerpieces that allowed each couple to take a centerpiece home.

We also wrote 4 different poems about our relationship like how we met etc, and put the poems on the back of our menus so people would turn the menu over and see one of the 4 poems. This actually ended up being a favor because many of our guests loved them so much that they wanted to keep them. Too funny!

Thats a good idea!! FH used to work in a pizzeria for 13years & would just be cute to do that.. Where did you get them!? Just anywhere or specific place?

I wanted to do wine, however, it was too expensive. I was dead set on having a local product of LI since I'm getting married out east. We are going with jams.

we did this...people actually commented on how lovely it was of us to donate...and it made us feel good too!!

PS - the ASPCA gives you little cards to put out at the place settings - so you can save on having to get something printed
