I saw pie pops on etsy once that looked really good. We are doing truffle pops from A Fresh Approach. We are also putting a ribbon on our place card holders as another keepsake to take home. Bellport also does a send off treat, we will prob go with soft pretzels :)

Edible ones have been my fav for sure. I've had some fantastic cake pops and truffles from a fresh approach, and also mini gourmet pies! Yummo lol I'm doing bbq sauce since I'm in the summer too. Something edible/drinkable always seems a big hit!

Favors - Long Island Weddings
Thanks for all of your input! I agree that edible/drinkable at least won't go to waste, so that's a plus...they have always been my favorite but I am a foodie so I wasn't sure if it was just me! My top contender right now is a bottle of wine per couple...I wanted a wine-y theme, not quite grapes draping everywhere but that kind of vintage, timeless, feel (lace and pearls, etc.). If I do the wine, I will have to go with the three buck chuck from trader joes...I finally realized I currently live in a state that sells wine in grocery stores so I was able to try it without going into NYC! We tried the Pinto Grigio and Merlot tonight and they were very good! I wanted to do a wine that was more meaningful (one of the places we have lived, wedding location, favorite winery) but its just too expensive.

we did this for our engagement party.
for the wedding, we did a salt & pepper shaker to go with our love birds theme and truffles from affresh approach mmmmm

We are getting a Photo Booth so we are doing photo booth frames and I put an insert in the frames that had a beautiful saying of why we did the frames, and then i wrapped them in a clear plastic with silver heart on them.

Go to Fox's Favors on Northern Blvd in flushing- Just went yesterday- getting oil and vinegar bottles in a metal rack- they wrap them amazing and Barbara is sooo nice there. They even have this adorable mailbox to put your wedding cards the day of.

my favorite favors are generally food related or wine! we are doing mango habanero hot sauce. FHs last name is Mango and he is a hot sauce freak so it has a personal touch.

i always loved a Photo Booth. we're doing that plus a donation in honor of my brother. most of the time favors i received haven't made it home because they don't fit in my purse.

I like filling favor boxes with your favorite treats. For my wedding our favors were a bottle of wine and a slice of cake.
