Would it be crazy to make these for our favors:

I want something edible and affordable. It says you can make them and then freeze them, and just bake them the day before.

buttt if they don't come out good then its the day before the wedding and i have no favor to give

i think those are adorable and so thoughtful. i agree maybe make a batch and see how they come out. perhaps you can prep them a few days before the wedding and then pop them in the oven the night before so there is less stress that evening? i think its a really cute and unique idea if you're up for doing it

Yeah, I'd make some, freeze them for a few weeks,and then make them and see how they come out.

I love the idea.... I think you should try it out now and then based on how they come out you can make a decision. It's a cute idea but remember it might become a lot of work. =)

So cute, but definitely do a trial run, and then think about your day before wedding timeline. If you are going to be super stressed or worrying about the oven times and getting it all done, I say skip it.

Maybe you can do it for a shower favor instead, so it will be on a smaller scale?

Wow that is really unique. Never heard of pies in a jar. Definitely try it out and see how it turns out. Your guests will love it.

I love this idea! I had actually printed out the directions for this a long time ago. But I know myself and I will get way to overwhelmed trying to bake alot of them. If you're good in the kitchen though, its so fun and unique.

I agee with the other ladies, definitely make a small batch to test.

I've also seen this but cupcake in a jar, which might be a little easier prep wise then pie.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! I also wanted to do an edible favor....I was thinking mini cookies in a jar like this. But really, these are so stinking cute!

Like the other girls said, I would make a batch ahead of time, freeze them, then take them out and bake to make sure they taste, the jars don't crack and so you can work out the kinks if you have any.

I think the best part about these is that you can make these lil pies a little at a time, until you have enough for your favors and then some. Lots of luck and let us know how they come out!

Really cute idea, not so sure about cooking 100 pies before your wedding though. Too stressfull!
