I've never seen it done, but you certainly CAn do it!
I was wondering the same thing.
I figure pretty much everyone at our RD is in the wedding party...so they're already going to be getting an $$$ present...no need for me.
I did them. I did little metal heart shaped baskets with jordan almonds inside. I wrapped the almonds in red tulle.
I also did them. I did little wicker pumpkins filled with candy corn wrapped in tulle.
In addition to giving gifts to the bridal party and close family members we gave everyone a little box of Godiva chocolates.
Yea, I had never heard of this. For me, though, all of my RD guests are OOT people so besides their BM gifts, I'm also giving big OOT baskets.

I have seen it done but our RD is mainly just wedding party so I don't think we'll do it...they'll get gifts and then we have the OOT gift bags. I had wanted to do favors at first but another expense...
We didn't do favors. But for the people that were not participating in the wedding ceremony (who were gettings lots of gifts anyway), we gave blockbuster gift cards just to make them feel included.
we are doing CD favors at the RD. We figured only our nearest and dearest wan't to hear all of our 'songs' anyway.
