Favors--Donations

I would like to make a donation to one of the cancer research institutes in lieu of favors. Some charities don't give scrolls...any suggestions on how to handle this? Thanks.

Favors--Donations

You can have scrolls printed up. They have them in any of the numerous magazines and catalogs you can get in the mail for bridal stuff. You can also print them up on a pretty paper on your computer and get the little rings to put around them ($4.00/100 usually).

Favors--Donations

We made menus for every couple at the wedding which sat at their table setting. They were beautiful, made from a cardstock and folded in half so they stood up. On the front we wrote 'Menu' and inside we wrote the menu on the right side and on the left we wrote: In lieu of favors a donation has been made in your name to the National Cancer Foundation I've also seen weddings where there was a sign regarding the donation right by the placecards.
