My MOm is giving my FH & I an E-party in our backyard. We are having a tent and most of it catered. Should I give all my guests a favor for coming? If so, what can I give? The party is in about 2 weeks. Thanks!

Re: Favors for E-parties?
I didn't give anyone a favor for my e-party. We had a nice catered BBQ in the backyard, and I wanted to keep it low key. If anything, I would give them something edible that you can put on the tables. Maybe a carmel apple? You can tie a ribbon on it with a card with your wedding date.

I did kisses in cute litlle bags with tags that said kisses from the future MR & MRs. It was something cute and inexpensive.

I think something edible is perfect for an E-party

I did STD magnets at my e-party, which was also in my backyard.

Re: Favors for E-parties?
I made custom votives from Yankee Candles (I did it on their website www.yankeecandle.com) and they came out really cute! To save money, I just got one for each invitation I sent out (about half the number of guests) instead of getting one for everyone. I had the labels say: We're engaged! 'my name' and 'FH name' Save the date June 11, 2006
So now I don't have to send Save the dates!

Re: Favors for E-parties?
For our e-party I made cookies and truffles and put them in a little box that said our names and wedding date. We also gave out little candles and a 'save the date' magnet in a drawstring pouch.

I gave out roses to my guest. I bought them at Sam's club, 24 roses for $12.

I did 'date savers' aka - life savers and people thought they were cute!
I don't think you need to go overboard if you do decide to give a favor.

I definitely agree about keeping it small if you want to give favors. Chocolate, or something edible is always good!

Thanks! I love the date savers! But I have no date yet!
Which brand mints did you use? And did you print a whole bunch on one sheet and then cut and glue on mints?? Thanks!
