for those of you who had or are having an e-party, are you/did you do favors? we're thinking maybe just little organza bags with candy, nothing too fancy, but did anyone else? do you think theres no need for it at an e-party?

we did favors...i got super cute snowflake ornaments from oriental trading for everyone...had ribbons made up with our names, bought tulle and wrapped them myself...
They came out super cute, but the ornaments were glass so a bunch of them broke in transit to the hall, but i made LOTS of extras so it was ok.

They are measuring spoons that have really cute sayings on them...like a dash of paitence...Then we are attaching a really cute 'Receipe for Life' on the boxes with them

for my favors i got some custom labels made for Hersheys Nuggets.....i put them on the candy and put a couple in an organza bag and then im attaching the organza bag to our save the date magnets

ours was in January, so we bought mini coffee samples in various flavors (on clearance) and made tulle bags with the coffee and heart shaped chocolates

I think we'll probably go to the Christmas Tree store and get a bunch of different summery things that are on sale and give them out.

Hi there,
I am having my engagement party on May 3rd & we just got our favors. I did the custom m & m's as a 'pre' Save the date.
Not sure if you can see the m & m's but they say: Natalie & Mike Join us May 2010
We got engaged on the Eiffel Tower @ Paris Hotel in Vegas, so the tin has a cute matching print. Here are some pix:
I think it can go either way for an eparty. Maybe check out ebay and see if you can find something reasonably priced? Candy is a good idea because people will eat it, I hate favors like candles and bells that you never use and feel bad about throwing out! You can always buy candy in bulk for cheap.

Thanks...I like them because people can use them. I didnt want to get something that people would put on a shelf and stare at it collecting dust!

For my favors I gave out my CP's lol........For CP's I had betta fishes in a beautiful bowl surrounded by beautiful flowers, and rose petals. In the bowl I also had different color marbles and a flower. Everyone loved my idea and tried taking the bowls before the party was over.I dont have a good pic but lets see if u can see it in the background of this pic...
It cant post because I dont know how to resize it, i will put it in my album Its a pic with a women holding a little baby, u should be able to see the tables in the background.

i'm doin cp's like that as well. i bought big vases and put differnet color marbles on the bottom and putting a betta in it with a floating yellow rose and then roses around the base
